Mentoring & Discipleship
Our Freedom missionary staff offer one-on-one mentoring for students who want to grow in their idea of leadership in actively living out that faith in their day to day lives. It is an opportunity to share life, journey and seek guidance. We believe in building up another enough that they in turn can build others up to do the same. We can all be like St Paul and mentor our own Timothy.
"What you have heard from me, entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others."
(2 Timothy 2:2)
Our faith studies aim to get back to the basics. They are small discussion groups of three or more people who meet weekly and run through a five-part resource series from Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) - our big brother in university ministry - that helps us delve deeper into the person of Jesus and how we can make him a bigger part of our lives. Faith studies are a comfortable and safe space to learn more about our faith and our relationship with Christ.
Faith & Social Events
They say we are not made to be islands, right? From games nights, praise and worship, beach trips, praying with Scripture and mass - we aim to have fun and grow in Christ through our friendship with one another. We are a big believer in community, and aim to create a welcoming support network on and off campus. We also acknowledge the importance of encouraging brotherhood and sisterhood through our men's and women's events throughout the year. Keep your eye out on our upcoming events here!
